New Ogden Theater

Vaudeville to be Presented by a Strong Company.

Ogden Standard Examiner, 16 October 1906, page 3
Ogden is to have a new vaudeville theater, if the present arrangements of Loverich & Lubelski are carried through.

A representative of the firm is in Salt Lake at present making arrangements to either secure a building or a site for a structure to cost about $50,000 in that city. It is reported that two local play houses in that city have been offered to the company, who are proprietors of the Novelty Circuit, having sixteen houses in Washington, Oregon, California, Nevada and Colorado, and is affiliated with the Sullivan-Considine circuit. It can be readily seen that it is the purpose of the proprietors of the circuit to have at least two houses in Utah and break the long jump from Reno, Nev., to Denver, Colorado. The establishing of a new theater in Ogden will probably mean the expenditure of about $25,000 in a structure. It is expected that both Utah houses will be open before the end of the present theatrical season.
