“Our movie guests have asked over the years for an alternative to long lines and dealing with people saving entire rows of seats,” said Dick Cornell, MegaPlex Theatre Manager. “Now we’ve given our guests that option with reserved seating.”

MegaPlex Theatres main goal for the change to reserved seating auditoriums is to better accommodate movie going patrons. Movie guests still have an option of traditional theatre auditoriums or reserved seating auditoriums.

“Nothing is worse then arriving to a movie and not being sure if you’re going to get a good or bad seat,” continued Cornell. “Reserved seating gives you time to purchase food or concessions and then stroll right into your movie.”

Reserved seating is a more convenient and time saving process. Movie patrons can reserve seats online, at an automated ticket kiosk or at the theatre box office. There is no additional cost and reserved seating can be purchased minutes or weeks before a movie show time.

When purchasing tickets the computer automatically walks you through the process. The computer will generate and highlight the best available seating options or the movie guest can choose the seat of their choice. In the theatre auditorium, seats are numbered by row and location that correspond to the reserved seating movie ticket. Theatre ushers are also available to help locate seats.
