Walt Disney has made a full-length movie featuring the Vienna Boys Choir and Salt Lake's equally famed Tabernacle Choir will be one of the first groups in the world to see the film.

The picture, which will open later this month at the Uptown Theater and Oak Hills Drive-In, is called "Almost Angels." It will be shown for members of the Tabernacle Choir and their families Sept. 15 at the Uptown. The general public will have an opportunity to see the movie beginning Sept. 26.

"Almost Angels" features several Disney finds in the roles of youngsters who want to become choir members. The young actors appear with actual members of the Vienna Boys Choir and the choir boys show that they are normal youngsters also.

There are pillow fights, operettas in which some of the boys dress as girls and must take some ribbing from other boys. During the story, of course the Vienna Boys Choir presents several concerts and musicals.

The program will also include a reissue of "Lady and the Tramp," one of Disney's most appealing animated productions.
