Times Independent, 10 March 1955, page 1

The Hill-Top Drive-In opened last Sunday evening to the largest crowd in its history. It was Moab's first outdoor show of the regular summer season of entertainment.

Friday evening, March 11 at 7:00 p. m. the Grand-Vu Drive-In will have its 1955 opening show. An extra large screen has been constructed for the showing of wide view and cinemascope productions at no increase in prices. The opening show will be a double bill featuring “Carnival Story” with Steve Cochrane and Ann Baxter. The second show will be “Rocky Mountain”. “Carnival Story” will then be shown a second time as the last feature of the evening.
