Kingsbury Hall $2000 Curtain Will be Hung Wednesday

Lighting Will Be Most Elaborate in the City

The new velvet curtain costing $2,000 has arrived and will be hung tomorrow afternoon.

Kingsbury Hall is nearing completion for the opening of the Theta Alpha Phi play, The Blue Bird,” which opens with a matinee May 22. Other performances will be given on the evenings of May 22, 23, and 24th.

Two thousand “form fitting” seats have arrived and are already clamped down. The lighting, which is being installed, will be the most elaborate in the city.

The scenery for the stupendous production is being prepared under the personal supervision of Miss Florence Ware.

On Thursday evening the first rehearsal of “The Blue Bear” in Kingsbury Hall will be held.

Tickets will go on sale this week.
