New Theater, The Movie, Opens Today utahtheaters.info

In response to the growing audience for so-called "art" films, a new theater - named simply The Movie - has been completed and will open soon to the public Wednesday. Inaugurating the theater is a film which has been acclaimed on both sides of the Atlantic, "The Knack . . . And How to Get It."

The Movie, located in the Olympus Hills Shopping Center at Wasatch Boulevard and 39th South, will be operated by the Tower Theater Corp. and follow the same film policies as the latter theater, according to Tania Karol, who will be general manager of the new entertainment facility.

The Movie, intimate in size - 180 seats - and appointments, has the latest in sound and projection equipment, seats that are wide and comfortable and spaced with ample leg room, according to Miss Karol. There will be two shows each night with starting times at 7 and 9:15 p.m.
