Hurricane Valley Journal, 17 March 2004
Summary:
Hurricane City Councilman John Bramell has been working for a couple of years to establish a movie theater in Hurricane so that residents can spend their tax dollars at home rather than drive into St. George.
Hurricane City lined up Interstate Rock Products, Inc. to develop and build the project and Coral Cliffs Entertainment, Inc. to operate the theater. In addition to the movie theater, the project may also include restaurants and a strip mall. All of the principal investors in Coral Cliffs Entertainment are from the southern Utah area.
The theater complex will have eight screens so it can show two or three first-run movies from different distributors, plus occasional regional and national films.
