Summary:

When Scott Webb closed the Scooter's movie theater last weekend he vented his frustration at the local community by put the words "Go to hell" on the theater marquee.

"I have closed three times in the past three years. This time I received some promises and commitment from people within the community that they want to keep it open. So I decided to have a go at it again," Webb said.  "I have never had a month where I made money. But for the last three months business has just gone totally south."

Experts point to Hyrum as a future high-growth potential area, with 400 new homes being built in the last 18 months, but Webb has found opening a business in Hyrum to be a real struggle.

Unlike the other times he has closed Scooter's theater, this time Webb is cleaning everything up.

Webb admitted one problem was that he would not show R-rated movies at his theater.

Webb says he put the blunt message on the sign because he was frustrated that he had to close.  The message was removed after only a few hours.
