Yeggs Crack Safe, Escape with $140

Hardworking safe crackers obtained approximately $140 from a safe at the Camark Theater, 2759 S. State, between midnight and 8 a.m. Saturday.

Forcing open a door which leads to the boiler room, the yeggs then chiseled through a wall leading into the theater.  They gained access to the office and pushed the 500-Ib. safe into the theater where they knocked off the dial and stole Friday's receipts.
