Summary:
Coral Cliff's Cinema 8
The Coral Cliff's Cinema 8 will feature stadium-style seating, Tempurpedic seats, Dolby Digital sound systems, the very latest in projection technology, and the highest quality in concessions and equipment available. The theaters will vary in size from 91 to 262 seats. The Wehrenberg Theater Group will supply Coral Cliff’s Entertainment with first-run, blockbuster movies.
Mayor Tom Hirschi said, “We want to encourage everybody: Don’t go west anymore. Stay here in Hurricane. See the movies.”
The theater is scheduled to open in October, with a grand opening in the first part of November. The development may also include a restaurant and a strip mall.
Eugene Star Theater
At the groundbreaking of the Coral Cliff's Cinema in May 2004, Mayor Tom Hirschi said, “I think back to the old Eugene Star Theater. Many years ago as a youngster, I remember we used to ask Gene, ‘Is there a good movie?’ and he’d say, ‘Best damn show in town.’"
