The Randall L. Jones Theater was built in 1989 using state grants and private donation.  The 750-seat theater is used by the Utah Shakespearean Festival and the local college.


Heritage Center for the Performing Arts

The Heritage Center for the Performing Arts opened in the summer of 2002, filling the need for a music venue in Cedar City.  The theater cost $8.5 million and was funded by a municipal bond.  The Heritage Center has 1000 seats and a balcony, but can also accomadate smaller audience by curtaining off all but 150 seats.  "The dressing rooms, green room, loading dock, backstage and public restrooms are spacious. Below the theater a full basement features meeting rooms and a kitchen.
