Opening of New Playhouse
Carbon County News, 12 December 1912, page 7
After weeks of negotiation and several trips to Salt Lake, Manager Anderson has succeeded in obtaining the Sullivan-Consadine vaudeville players, for the formal opening of his new theatre on the 18th. There will be ten different acts, all of them triumphs, and of a class rarely seen in towns as small as Price. Mr. Anderson is to be congratulated on securing this bunch of stars from the Empress circuit. Every act is a head-liner, and no one should fail to be present on the opening night, to show their appreciation of Mr. Anderson's enterprise in securing this stellar attraction.
The formal opening of the Eko, will not occur until next Wednesday, the 18th, but the theatre is very nearly ready for business, and Mr. Anderson will put on moving pictures Saturday night.
