Opening of the new Alta Theatre in the near future is an important event for Brigham City. D. L. Levitt, lessee and manager, has been positively assured by H. N. Bowring, now constructing this magnificent playhouse, that he will deliver the Alta complete during the month of March. Modern in all its appointments, perfect ventilation, safe and comfortable, this newer and greater amusement house will supply a long felt necessity i Box Elder County. The Commercial Club of Brigham City has placed the stamp of approval on the new enterprise by engaging the Alta for the opening night and will produce the greatest show on earth which will eclipse all their former successful efforts as reported direct from rehearsing headquarters. The management of the Alta is pleased to announce that the most satisfactory arrangements have been made with theatrical agencies for clas-sv motion pictures, dramatic, musical and vaudeville attractions of quality and merit that amuse and satisfy. Motion pictures by such well known players as the Vitagraph Co., Biograph, Edison, Selig, Pathe, Lubin, Essany and others that pay particular attention to every detail in their productions.
Road attractions from the Cort circuit will be housed in the Alta, as seen in the Salt Lake Theatre. The fully equipped modern stage of the Alta will accommodate the big attractions from the Cort bookings for a proper and correct production. Very best vaudeville under the direction of the Sullivan and Considine circuit as staged in the beautiful Empress of Salt Lake. Vaudeville nights will be regular events in the new Alta. With a seating capacity of 1000 persons makes it possible for the Alta Theatre to supply Brigham City with attractions as shown in Salt Lake and other large cities.
