“High-energy fun in four-part harmony!” boasts the Smith Bros. Dirt Band. They’ll be sharing their blend of bluegrass, country and jug band music at the Casino Star Theatre on Saturday, December 1, 2012, at 7:00 p.m.
The Smith Bros. first formed their “dirt band” in 1968, and played festivals and concerts throughout the Mountain West for 20 years. After 20 more years of other activities—like families and day jobs—they started playing together again and finding a new generation of audiences to foot-stomp, knee-slap, and yee-haw! along with their peers.
Sounds like a great place to be on the first Saturday in December. Come along for the ride! Tickets are just $8 for adults and $5 for seniors and students and are available at Gunnison Implement and Rasmussen’s Ace Hardware in Gunnison, the Sanpete Messenger Office in Manti, and Kopy Katz Printing in Ephraim. Online tickets at www.casinostartheatre.com include a nominal convenience fee of 50¢.
