Opening of Dreamland under New Management

Ogden Standard Examiner, 2 November 1908, page 4

Fred Tout and Fred Anderson offered their first performance at the Dreamland theatre last night. Messrs. Tout and Anderson are the new lessees of the place and they state that many improvements will be made within the next few days. The theatre will be thoroughly repaired, including changes in the stage settings.

Pictures that have never before been seen in Ogden will be introduced, they having just received new films from the factory. Two machines will be used hereafter and a two nights' stand a week will be given at Huntsville in the Wangsgard hall.

Mr. Fred Tout, the popular vocalist of Ogden and the state, will appear each night in the rendition of popular songs. The new management contemplates making the Dreamland theatre the most popular and up to date show house in the city. The piano accompanist in all performances will be Glen Trout, son of Fred Tout, assisted by a violinist. Both Mr. Tout and Mr. Anderson are well known in Ogden and the people may well expect a splendid entertainment from them.

The house was packed with people last night, the performance given being highly appreciated. An entirely new program will be given tonight and hereafter the character of the performance will be changed each Monday night.
