Remember CARS and Mater parked on Gunnison's Main Street?
Well, Disney's new hit movie, PLANES is coming to the Casino Star August 9th and the Star of the Show, Dusty, is coming too! If you loved CARS and getting your picture taken with MATER, you are going to love PLANES and meeting DUSTY.
Seth Hendrickson (builder extraordinaire, creator of Mater) did it again... Dusty will make his red carpet appearance on premier night.
Bring the Family - Bring your Camera - Get your picture taken with DUSTY, see PLANES, and enjoy the best popcorn under God's blue sky at the Casino Star Theatre. It doesn't get better than that!
In appreciation of DUSTY's highly photogenic qualities, the Casino Star Theatre Foundation is gladly accepting donations for the purpose of installing a digital projector. All donations are tax-deductible - 100% of your donation will be used for continuing the Show House's 100-year tradition of playing movies. The Casino Star must raise $45,000 to keep up with the film industry and its conversion to digital which will replace the historical 35mm standard early in 2014. The Casino Star started showing movies more than one hundred years ago on January 13, 1913. Research indicates the Casino Star is the longest continually run cinema theatre showing first run movies west of the Mississippi and maybe the whole the USA.
So bring your jars of pocket change and drop it in our donation jar August 9 through 22 - Meet Dusty - Take your Picture. Your donation will help your Show House continue running all of your favorite movies for the next hundred years.
