[Lyceum Work Being Pushed Forward]

[The title, date, and publisher for this article have been misplaced.  The date of 1 September 1910 is a guess.]

Work on the new Lyceum theater which is being built on the site of the old theater by the same name is being pushed forward, and Manager Charles Lippincott says that the playhouse will be ready for use early in the fall.

The theater will be one of the handsomest in the city. The old seating capacity will be more than doubled and all of the modern equipment of the higher class theaters will be installed. Scenery for the new house is now being painted by an eastern house of well-known reputation.

It is the intention of the owners and the manager of the theater to continue high class vaudeville at popular prices. The commodious stage which will be built will make it possible for vaudeville attractions which could not be accommodated on the stage of the old theater being presented at the new house.
