Progress Rattles Forward at So. Utah's New Dinner Theater
Sun Independent, 3 November 2013
Summary:
Rattlin’ D Playhouse staged three productions over the past year using the stage in the Community Center, but will complete construction on a new facility in January 2014 at the Diamond Ranch Academy, a residential treatment center for teens. Rattlin’ D performers will mentor students of Diamond Ranch during the day. All profits from performances will go into a Young Performers Scholarship Fund to help Diamond Ranch students further their education in the arts.
The new venue will seat 180 patrons, more than double the current capacity of the Hurricane Community Center. The stage will measure 42 feet wide and 27 feet deep.
