Salt Lake Tribune, 6 February 1963, page 17
A special showing of the Cinerama production, "The Wonderful World of the Brothers Grimm," is in store Wednesday for a group of shut-ins.
THE MATINEE showing of the film for about a thousand invited persons, is being presented through cooperation of MGM, Cinerama and the Fox Intermountain Theaters.
Invitations have been sent to directors of special day-care centers in Salt Lake City and North Salt Lake and public-supported hospitals in Salt Lake City, Ogden and Provo.
IN ADDITION, the Salt Lake Kiwanis Club will provide transportation for a large group of senior citizens. Refreshments at intermission wil be provided by The Salt Lake Tribune.
Projectionists for the special Cinerama showing will be furnished by Local 250 of the International Association of Theatrical and Stage Employees.
TED KIRKMEYER, Salt Lake City manager for Fox-Intermountain Theatres, said the shut-ins invited for the special showing would not ordinarily have a chance to see the production because they may require special care and supervision.
Mr. Kirkmeyer said special efforts had been made to arrange the showing for shut-in children because of its appeal.
