[Xanadu Closed Early]

To our Empress Family,

Out of an abundance of caution, we have decided to close Xanadu early. This is not a measure taken lightly. Thus far we have remained open to give the public an opportunity to see the result of months of hard work on the part of our artists.

The theatre will be closed to the public until further notice. At this time, we are not expecting this closure to impact West Side Story. This situation is dynamic and therefore unpredictable; and we will continue to follow Health Department Recommendations.

In the next few days, we will be in contact with those who already have tickets. Please do not call the box office phone, as we do not have the staffing to take a large volume of calls.

We would like to encourage those with tickets to donate the cost of their ticket to the theatre. If that is not something you can do, we can reschedule your tickets to another show in the season. If you have any questions, please email empress@empresstheatre.com.
